We were commissioned by pladis PLC in February 2023 to develop a culture change programme for their Manchester site, delivering accountability at all levels, while driving efficiencies and team effectivness, allowing the site to attract new investment opportunities and deliver new products. Several tier-one consultancies proposed change management programmes, however this did not offer the hands-on approach the group needed with shared accountability. This culture change was needed on the back of several years of change and transformation with an unsettling programme of activities within the site. We designed a bespoke programme centered on servant-leadership methodology with a large focus on employee engagement and experience, ensuring the programme consistently aligned with their values. We understood the challenge of implementing change, and the difficulties that may come with encouraging the team to step up and move forward, as they were psychologically hampered by ill feelings of past restructures, a lack of understanding of their colleague’s feelings and previously raised improvements of the work environment.
